With the final months of winter approaching, you may be thinking about taking a vacation this spring. One of the most favorite spring break destinations is the beach. Whether you are traveling to the Pacific coastline of California or the gulf shores of Florida, beach vacations are a great way to unwind. When taking a beach vacation, it’s best to come prepared for all the adventures that may or may not lay ahead of you. Today, we would like to discuss some essentials to pack for your next beach vacation.

Sunscreen

Sunscreen is the most important thing to bring for your beach vacation. After all, you’ve most likely spent most of this winter indoors, and the sunlight is often intense at the beach. Most skin care professionals recommend applying sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30 frequently at the beach. We recommend using a waterproof sunscreen to add further protection to your skin under the bright rays of the sun. If you’ve spent a bit of time in the water, it’s always a good idea to reapply your sunscreen. After all, you don’t want to spend the remainder of your vacation sunburnt and covered in blisters.

Sarong

Most ladies prefer not to walk from their hotel room to the beach in just their swimsuit, so a good coverup is always appreciated. Sarongs are nice because they can be tied in a variety of ways, which offers you plenty of versatility. You can also find plenty of other nice coverups such as dresses and oversized t-shirts as well. Choose which coverup you feel most comfortable in to bring with you to your next beach trip.

Hat

If you are particularly sensitive to the sun, it might be a good idea to bring a hat with you to the beach in addition to wearing sunscreen. A hat helps to add an extra layer of protection against the sun and can keep you from developing a pink nose. Additionally, wearing a hat is a good idea for any women who color their hair. Nothing can fade your color faster than the combination of salt water and intense sunlight, so protect your investment. If you go to a salon to color your hair, then you know it’s not cheap.

Camera And Accessories

Beach vacations provide plenty of photo opportunities, so be sure to pack your camera and your camera accessories.

Sunglasses

You won’t last very long on the beach without a good pair of sunglasses, because beach sunlight can be almost blinding in its intensity. We prefer to buy a few inexpensive pairs of sunglasses to take to the beach instead of pricier designer sunglasses. This ensures that if you lose or break a pair, you will not be too upset.

OpeToz®

Of course, you must remember to pack your favorite pair of OpeToz® open toe athletic shoes. These shoes will protect your feet from the burning hot sand on the beach, and they are great poolside as well. In fact, you will love these shoes so much that you might wear them for your entire vacation. OpeToz features many different color selections to choose from, so shop our toeless tennis shoes today.
